Some people believe we are born with a purpose though they can’t tell us what that purpose
is. Some believe that we live in a preordained universe and that we don’t have
the power to change anything; but what would be the purpose of existing if that
No, life is a game we all play and we play to win. You might not think that it’s a game but
it is. Each of us play our own game and our games interact making us compete
but we are just playing the game according to the rules we chose and looking
for the ends we seek.
The game is like a multi level chess game and there is nothing fair in it. We start at the
level we are born in and work our way through the maze of options, hopefully
seeking to satisfy our goals. Some people play for money, some play for power, some
people play for pleasure, some seem to be looking for punishment and some don’t
seem to have any goals at all.
As we play our game and win we are happy, satisfied with our lives. If we lose we become
unhappy and if we lose a lot, we get depressed. There are penalties for failing
and the worse penalties depend on the cards we received at the beginning of our
particular game. Those cards are given to us by our parents and the environment
they provided as we developed in the womb and started our lives. The problem is
that those memories are hidden from us somewhere in our unconscious. If we
could find them, we could improve our chances in the extremely complex game we
Those of us who reach the higher levels of our game don’t want to lose our positions. The
higher the level, the fewer the positions available and the more we fight to
keep our foot hold on it. Some players have values and try to play fair. Others
don’t care what they have to do to acquire and keep their gains, so they make
it very difficult for anyone to go up. The more they oppress the people below
them, the more secure they feel in their positions.
We invent rules and regulations to control our games and we give them names. Some games
are called democracies, some are called communism, some are called sports and
so on but they are all our games and sometimes we participate in more than one,
trying to win in each and every one of them.
Every game needs rules and those who know the rules are the people that get to the top.
The people who control the rules control the game. That’s why big companies try
to insure that we elect the people they favor into office. The more leaders
they control, the surer they are of obtaining their goals. Most of us, on the
other hand, don’t seem conscious of this and so play right into the hands of
the big players. Most of us succumb to their rules and accept their definition
of what we are. That is why we lose.
Keep your opponents confused, infuse fear on them so their minds don’t work properly and
feed false information to the masses, those are the means for them to keep
control and their positions are not only secured, they have the opportunity to
keep on growing. As they grow we shrink, become less effective and more
controllable until we will be nothing more than slaves.
So, if we want to win in life, we must learn the rules; find the way to undo the damage
done to us and gain control of the mechanisms used to make the rules so that we
can use those mechanisms to even the field. People would be a lot happier if
they could win in their particular games and most of us don’t play to become
world leaders or super rich. Some people’s game is to have a functional family,
or merely to enjoy life to the fullest. Things that are very difficult right
now with the strangle hold rich companies have over our society in general.
